OTTAWA, Ontario. Nov. 25, 2010 – St. Louis-based Enterprise Holdings Foundation has recently awarded One Change Foundation (www.onechange.org) a $2500 donation to benefit their corporate actions that focus on harnessing the power of person-to-person conversation and building resilient networks of existing community organizations to increase individual, on-going behaviours for the environment.
“Together, the smart choices we make every day, add up to make a difference in our communities and for our planet,” says Stuart Hickox, founder and president of One Change. “Charitable grants such as this make it possible for One Change to continue on its path of empowering individuals to become catalysts of positive change in their daily lives and in their communities.”
The Enterprise Holdings Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Enterprise Holdings, the company that, through its regional subsidiaries, operates the Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental brands. The Foundation was started in 1982 by Enterprise Rent-A-Car founder Jack Taylor and has contributed more than $100 million to thousands of registered non-profit efforts since its inception.
